08/17/07 – Interstate 880/Mission Blvd Exit – Fremont, CA
California has many things to love. Mountains, lakes, rivers, valleys, coastline, cities, culture, people and food. You can go from desert to snow, snow to coastline, coastline to river, river to lake and anything else you can possibly think of in a single day if you know how to drive. What separates the strong from the weak in California is that there are those who can drive and those who cannot. There are those who can deal with the daily commute and traffic, then there are those that have road rage so intensely they constantly look like they are either going to shit their pants or have their head explode when you drive past them blasting the latest and greatest from Nine Inch Nails when all they really want to hear is cars rolling off the side of the road getting out of their way as if some devine power came down and parted every California freeway as if it were the Red Sea, specifically for them. Good luck asshole. An hour each way makes for two hours a day and it doesn’t matter where you are going as long as you know it’s going to take all the bubbling lava in Hell to make anyone else willingly let you get their faster than them. Enjoy it… you have beautiful cars, nice sunsets, good music. You know, unless you are one of the millions of people in California with a shitty car, poor gas milage, no stereo and a two hour a day commute that makes you want to strangle the cutest of kittens.
Welcome to California, California Love, and California Traffuck.
