Today I woke up on the couch all hot and sweaty. Living in a house made of metal makes for one hot sleep. After waking up I just came into my office and got online to check email. Something was missing. There was a serious lack of a caffeine in my system that needed to be filled. So I got myself dressed and grabbed my keys.

I departed on a journey to the nearest convenience store to appease my addiction to caffeine, and horribly enough, nicotine.

The store was not crowded as it usually is. Upon getting inside, the nice cool air made me feel much better. Also the thought of quenching my thirst with a highly caffeinated beverage soothed my urges.

The saddest part of this day is that this will most likely be the high point of the day. I have nothing else planed so far as I know. Perhaps I shall finish painting a sculpture that I started. Maybe I should clean the house. There are lot of little things I could get involved in today. The only keeping from doing it all, is the god awful heat. Ive got the air conditioner blasting away at full power, but still the sweat seeps down my face and runs down my back.

I am excited for the coming of fall, and weather that is a bit cooler. I could open windows and air the place out and not feel so stuffy and isolated.
